Fantastic read. I couldn't go on watching the documentary after the walrus scene. I don't think I've ever felt as sad, angry, stupid, careless. Such suffering, all because of how reckless and selfish our species is.

I agree with what you wrote about the importance of government and corporation action. I sometimes feel helpless, carrying a water bottle around for a whole day so that I can find a place to recycle it in while I know so many corporations use tons of plastic every single hour and don't recycle any of it. Not that plastic is the only issue here, obviously, but an example...

I find individuals like Mr. Attenborough and Greta Thunberg so inspiring. Only one person, and they are able to inspire such change.
